It all started as a daydream. I remember drawing layouts of spas in a notebook. Little did I know I was manifesting my dreams. With a whole lot of action I opened my very first shop in 2014! It was a wonderful journey enhancing the natural beauty of so many amazing people along the way.

I'm Shauna.
10 years later I closed my shop after I had a new baby and wanted to spend precious quality time with him. But few people knew...
I was a web designer after receiving my esthetician license in 2007. This was due to the recession the following years, so I picked up that skill and had a small company designing local businesses websites. It was fun while it lasted but it was a lot of work! I had two beautiful children in 2011 and 2013. It was such a blessing to be a mom, but it came with challenges as a single mom.
I learned lash extensions during this time. Then took the skills of what I had and designed a website for my beauty services. My clients consistently started growing. And I was grateful for every one of them. It was really hard to close my shop 10 years later but one person needed me most. I decided to be a stay at home mom and he's kept me busier than anyone- lol.
What began as a hands-on aesthetics practice has evolved into an online space where I can work from home. Through in-depth blog content, Alohi Aesthetics shares practical skincare education, ingredient insights, treatment guidance, and aftercare knowledge designed to support you beyond the treatment room.
