Classic Lashes are applied using one lash extension on an individual natural lash(1:1). This is great for clients who have a good amount of lashes to create length & thickness along their lash line. It can be more of a natural look depending on the amount of lashes you have.
Volume Lashes (also referred to as Russian Volume) are when multiple lash extensions are applied to an individual lash. Your lash technician creates handmade “fans” using 2 or more lashes with a thinner diameter so it can be placed on your natural lash without damaging it. Volume lashes are lighter, fluffier and give the client more density along the lash line. It has a tendency (depending on how many lashes are placed) to have almost a “strip lash” look. Volume lashes are prefect for clients with little to lots of lashes. Volume lashes also have a tendency to last longer since the lash extensions cover more surface area because multiple lashes are attached, creating a stronger bond with less adhesive.
